GER335   German Core Language   (10 credits)

Description

Building on the advanced level of linguistic competence students have developed at Levels 1 and 2 and during the Year Abroad, the module trains students in the use of the German language at a high level of lexical and grammatical complexity, enables them to employ different registers and rhetorical strategies, and fosters an awareness of the cultural and contextual embeddedness of language. The module focuses both on written and oral communication.
